Your Love Story is lifesaving.
Adopted pets change lives. But not everyone knows this. Petco Love Stories is returning this August to shine a spotlight on all the big and small ways shelter pets change our lives for the better.
Petco Love Stories Help Shelter Pets Get Adopted
Want in? Share how your adopted pet's love brings joy or strength into your life with a Petco Love Story submission. The goal of your story? Show the world that adopted pets are more than “shelter pets” – they change our lives for the better.
If you need another reason (or two) to brag about your best friend...you could score fun surprises for you and your pet and earn your pet’s adoption organization a grant of up to $100,000 to create more life-changing matches.
Submissions open at noon CST on August 11—stay tuned for more details!
Once upon a time...
Real-life Love Stories
Our bond is so special because Moly has walked in my shoes, and I in her paws. When I am feeling sorry for myself, Moly comes over and lays her head on my lap, staring into my eyes. She’s telling me that I am loved, and a deep, wonderful feeling washes over me.
Shelter pets change lives.
Let's save theirs.
Every year, pet parents and Petco Love help more pets get adopted by sharing Love Stories that celebrate the big and small ways pets change our lives for the better and by awarding grants to animal welfare organizations so they can create more adoption matches!
Since 2013, more than 25,000 adopters, like you, have shared their Petco Love Story, and we’ve awarded $8 million in lifesaving grants to the animal welfare organizations that make these adoptions possible.
When the submission form opens at noon CST on August 11, join us in helping more pets get adopted into loving families by celebrating the impact your adopted pet has on your life in a Petco Love Story submission.
